Tomorrow, December 22, will be an E-Learning Day for Windom Students. All after-school activities that were scheduled to take place tomorrow will be postponed.
Windom Area Health, along with the Windom Hockey Association, invites you to Rock the Rink Pink /Stick It To Cancer on Thursday night, January 19, 2023, at the Windom Arena. The Girls and Boys Varsity Hockey teams play back-to-back that night with the Girls’ puck dropping at 5:00 p.m.
Below is a link for the online clothing store. Proceeds from the sales, along with proceeds from that night, will be shared with Windom Area Health (Foundation Cancer Fund) and the Windom Hockey Association.
Please be on the look out for additional information from Windom Area Health (via Facebook) and the Chamber of Commerce (via E-Blast) about activities that night. There will be an opportunity prior to that night to sponsor and decorate portions of the ice to honor loved ones who have experienced cancer.
Please come out and help cheer on the Windom Eagles and support cancer patients!

The Prairie Ecology Bus Center After School program that was rescheduled for today (12.21) is now CANCELLED.
Going to be a busy night at Windom Area Schools with activities! Luckily we have a night where we have weather that allows our kids to compete.

K-3rd Grade basketball will be performing at halftime of the Girls Varsity Game!

There IS Family Open Gym in the Blue Gym 1-3 PM today. There is no open gym the next 2 Sundays (Christmas Day & New Years Day.) Family Open Gym will resume again Sunday, January 8.
There will be no K-3 Basketball camp tomorrow morning December 17th. This is because the Gold gym is still set up for the Elementary Concert, and uncertainty with the weather.
We do have a couple of our halftime performances coming up next week:
The first will be Tuesday December 20th when the Windom Varsity Girls Basketball team hosts the Blue Earth Buccaneers at 7:15 PM this will be for Kindergarten- 1st grade. The second date will be Thursday December 22nd when the Windom Varsity Boys Basketball team hosts the TCU-Titans at 7:15 this is for 2nd and 3rd graders. The final date is Saturday January 7th when
the Windom Varsity Boys Basketball program hosts the Sibley East Wolverines at 4:00 PM this is for all K-3 Basketball players. Students get into the games for free. With 4 minutes to go in the first half of the varsity game they should gather in the hallway by the weight-room. At halftime they will perform a larger group ball handling routine. They can bring their own basketball, and we will have extras available if they do not have one. This is an awesome opportunity for the kids to watch the Varsity teams play, and to get to perform on the blue gym floor with a crowd.
All evening activities have been postponed. The K-3 concert has been rescheduled for Sunday at 6:00 for K&1st and 7:00 for 2nd & 3rd in the Gold Gym at the Middle High School.
